Seafood is a broader term that encompasses all types of edible aquatic animals, both vertebrates and invertebrates, whether they have shells or not. Seafood includes not only shellfish but also fish (such as salmon, tuna, and cod), as well as other marine creatures like cephalopods (such as squid and octopus) and sea turtles. Seafood is a more inclusive term that covers a wider range of aquatic animals used for human consumption.
