We must analyze three main aspects:
- Shrimp farming: affected by cold air, water temperature is low and this affects the growth and cultivation of shrimp. Also, changes in the weather can easily cause shrimp disease. Therefore, harvest time production in June is expected to decrease.
- Fishmeal prices on rise: affected by the epidemic, Brazil, Argentina, USA, and many other fish meal exporters countries are closed, the reason why imports of fish meals are delayed and stock in the domestic market is scarce, therefore the feed prices will gradually increase.
- Exports: affected by the virus, India and other exporting countries are closed. The situation is very bad, no workers, shipments, and transportation are blocked, etc. This means China cannot import foreign shrimps at the moment.
