In November 2021, the arrival quantity of imported warm water shrimp products (including vannamei white shrimp and Argentine red shrimp) hit a new high, reaching 70,305 tons, an increase of 25% from the number achieved in October.
The largest import volume is still from Ecuadorian white shrimp. In November, a total of 48,548 tons of Ecuadorian white shrimp arrived with a value of 310 million US dollars.
Followed by Indian shrimp products, 8,068 tons, with a value of 51 million US dollars. 717 tons of PUD products. The rest are headless shrimp and head-on and shell-on products.
