China Customs suspends import declarations to companies from Ecuador, the United States, Russia and other countries.

On June 9, the China Customs announced the positive results of 15 batches of products from Ecuador, the United States, Russia, South Korea, and Myanmar, and suspended the import declaration of related enterprises, fishing vessels, and cold storage for 1-4 weeks.

Ecuad
Due to the positive nucleic acid detection of coronavirus in a batch of frozen vannamei shrimp imported from Ecuador, according to the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, from now on the national customs will suspend the import declaration of the Ecuadorian manufacturer PROEXPO PROCESADORA Y EXPORTADORA DE MARISCOS S.A. (registration number 678) for 4 weeks to July 6, 2022.

U.S.
Positive nucleic acid for the new coronavirus was detected in packaging samples of 2 batches of frozen Pacific plaice, 2 batches of frozen Pacific cod, 3 batches of frozen yellow-cap plaice, and 1 batch of frozen yellow-bellied plaice imported from the United States. According to the provisions of the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will suspend the acceptance of import declarations of 4 US fishing vessels (registration numbers are 3031069, 1000126307, 3028754, 3001237711) from now on for one week until June 15, 2022 day; National customs will suspend the acceptance of import declarations of two US fishing vessels (registration numbers 1000126322 and 3023640) for 4 weeks until July 6, 2022.

Russia, South Korea
4 batches of frozen salmon caught by Russian fishing boats and stored in South Korea, 1 batch of frozen pollock and 1 batch of frozen Northern Prawn packaging samples were found to be positive for coronavirus nucleic acid. According to the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will suspend import declaration of the above-mentioned three Russian fishing vessels (registration numbers are CH-17R, СН-30Q, СН-48M) and 2 Korean cold storages (registration numbers СН-93N and CH-949) for 1 week until June 15, 2022; 2 Russian fishing boats (registration numbers CH-64G, CH-19Q) and 1 South Korean fishing boat (registration number KP-733) for 4 weeks until July 6, 2022.

Myanmar
Due to the positive nucleic acid detection of coronavirus in a batch of frozen mackerel imported from Myanmar, according to the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will suspend the import declaration of a Myanmar aquatic product manufacturer Golden Sea Processing Plant & Cold Store (registration number YGN/099/GS/DOF) for 4 weeks until July 6, 2022.
