New Zealand’s Live Lobster exports to China increase!

According to foreign media reports, New Zealand’s live lobster exports are rebounding strongly because Chinese customers are returning to restaurants.

According to data released by Auckland International Airport on Wednesday, the number of live lobsters airlifted from New Zealand to China in May this year reached more than 300 tons, an increase of 53% from the same period last year.

This is good news for New Zealand lobster exporters. In February this year, due to the closure of Chinese restaurants due to the epidemic, more than 100 tons of live lobsters from New Zealand could not be exported to China, and some of them were forced to return to the sea.
