China Customs Suspends 13 Frozen Products Importing Enterprises.

On April 16, China Customs issued six announcements of emergency preventive measures in a row. A total of 13 aquatic and meat enterprises and cold storages were suspended, involving 7 countries and regions including Brazil, Peru, India, Greenland, Denmark, Pakistan, and Argentina.

Due to the detection of positive nucleic acid for coronavirus in 4 batches of imported frozen meat, the Chinese customs will suspend the acceptance of import declaration of the following Brazilian meat production enterprises: MARFRIG GLOBAL FOODS S.A. (registration number: SIF2015), JBS S/A (registration No. SIF42), NATURAFRIG ALIMENTOS LTDA (Registration No. SIF1365), MARFRIG GLOBAL FOODS S.A. (Registration No. SIF2543) for 1 week.

Due to the positive detection of coronavirus nucleic acid in a batch of imported frozen meat products, the Chinese customs will suspend the acceptance of the import declaration of the Argentine meat manufacturer FRIGOLAR S.A. (registration number 3676) for 1 week.

Due to the positive detection of coronavirus nucleic acid in a batch of frozen boiled squid fillets imported from Peru, the national customs will suspend the acceptance of import declaration of the Peruvian aquatic product manufacturer COSTA MIRA S.A.C. (registration number is P274-PAI from now on) -CSMR) for 1 week.

Due to the positive detection of coronavirus nucleic acid in one batch of frozen vannamei shrimp imported from India, the national customs will suspend the acceptance the import declaration of Indian aquatic product manufacturer M/s.Sree Sreenivasa Cold Storage (registration number 1895) for 1 week.

Due to the positive nucleic acid detection of the coronavirus in a batch of frozen Greenland flounder imported from Greenland and stored in a Danish cold storage, the national customs will suspend the acceptance of Royal Greenland A/S, a Greenland aquatic product manufacturer, from now on. In addition, the import declarations of Aappilattoq (registration number GL6147) and Danish cold storage Agri-Norcold A/S (registration number DK196) will be also suspended for 1 week.

Due to the positive nucleic acid detection of coronavirus in the internal and external packaging samples of frozen fish and frozen boiled baigai imported from Pakistan, the national customs will suspend the acceptance of the import declarations of Pakistani aquatic product manufacturer M/s. Pak International (registration number T-245 /2012) and M/s. B.K TRADING CO. (registration number T-516/G-2018) for 1 week. The customs will suspend the acceptance of the import declaration of M/s. Ocean Gold Seafood (registration number T-435/04) and M/S Mukhi Noordin & Sons (registration number T-03/98) for 4 weeks.
