On November 22, 2021, the General Administration of Customs issued Announcement No. 92 of 2021: From the date of this announcement, the import of Cuban aquatic products that meet the defined requirements will be allowed.
The range of imported products includes:
Farmed aquatic products, aquatic animal products and their derived products for human consumption, algae and other marine plant products, excluding species and living aquatic products listed in the “Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Plant Species” (CITES) and China’s National Key Protected Wildlife List for animals, aquatic animals and plants.
This means that the importing countries of vannamei shrimp have added another country.
