On October 21st, the Weihai Government notified that a sample of the outer package of imported cold chain food was found positive after testing for COVID-19. The infested batch of products has been sealed up, surrounding area has been disinfected and all personnel who had close contact with the infested products was quarantined and tested for nucleic acid. The results of tests were all negative.
The Weihai Government underlined that companies operating and processing imported products have to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures.
