27 batches of shrimp tested positive, 14 Ecuadorian enterprises were suspended.

China Customs announced on 20, April that due to the positive of covid-19 in 27 batches of frozen vannamei shrimp (imported from 14 Ecuadorian companies) and 4 batches of frozen pomfret fish (imported from 1 Ecuadorian company), in accordance with the regulation of the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will suspend the acceptance of import declarations of enterprises with registration numbers 2625, 7557, 24887, and 548 for 1 week; the acceptance of import declaration of enterprises with registration numbers 13717 and 6107 will be suspended for 4 weeks; the acceptance of the import declarations of enterprises with registration numbers 51 and 684 in Ecuador for 5 weeks; the acceptance of import declaration of the enterprise with registration number 5658 for 8 weeks; of the enterprise with registration number 24 for 9 weeks; of the enterprise with registration number 7453 for 10 weeks; of the enterprise with registration number 31991 for 13 weeks.

China Customs will continue to suspend import declarations of enterprises with registration numbers 6807, 143 and 681 for 4 weeks.
