In the first nine months of this year, exports of Vietnamese fish cakes and surimi (including products made from tuna and Basa fish) to China increased by 25%, while exports to ASEAN and Japan fell by 6% and 22%, respectively.
China, Japan and the United States are the three largest import markets for Vietnamese crabs and other crustaceans. In the first nine months of this year, the export growth rate of Vietnamese crabs to China was the highest, reaching nearly 365%. Exports to Japan and the United States fell by 5% and 26%, respectively.
