The District Market Supervision Bureau conducted an on-site inspection. The company purchased 3,289 boxes of imported frozen vannamei in three batches on June 16 and June 17 respectively. For these cargos, the company could provide inspection and quarantine certificates, negative nucleic acid test certificates, and disinfection certificates. But they did not registered and entered relevant traceability information on the Tianjin Cold Chain Traceability Platform. And at the time of inspection, the company was changing the packaging of imported frozen vannamei to domestic packaging without authorization.
In response to the above-mentioned illegal acts of the company, the Market Supervision Bureau will punish the company quickly and severely in accordance with the law. It will also be announced to the public in the “Tianjin Market Entities Credit Information Publicity System”, and will be transferred to the public security organs.
At present, due to the epidemic, the Chinese government is still very strict on the supervision of imported cold chain food. Exporters and importers must follow the epidemic prevention regulations to avoid violations.
