On the 22nd, another 8 Indian vananmei shrimp companies were suspended from customs declarations.

Due to the positive detection of the COVID-19 virus nucleic acid in the product packing samples, in accordance with China Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will suspend the import declaration of the following Indian aquatic products manufacturers: M/s. Tolar Ocean Products Pvt Ltd (registration number 768) from now on, M/s. SKExports Pvt. Ltd. (Registration No. 396), M/s. Balasore Marine Exports Pvt. Ltd. (Registration No. 481), M/s. ROYALE MARINE IMPEX PVT. LTD (Registration No. 1837), M/s Shimpo Exports Pvt. Ltd. (registered number 458), M/s Nekkanti Mega Food Park Pvt. Ltd (registered number 1896), M/s. Sea Foods Private Limited (registered number 498)  and M/s AKSHAY FOOD IMPEX PVT LTD (registration number 1887) for 1 week.

According to the New India Express, as many as 50 companies have been suspended from exporting to Chinese ports, and the General Administration of Customs of China shows that since the beginning of June, 31 Indian seafood companies have been suspended from import declarations, ranging from 1 week to 9 weeks. Most companies sell vannamei shrimp.
