The Chinese Customs Department has made a video inspection to 8 foreign aquatic enterprises:
India: M/s COCHIN FROZEN FOOD EXPORTS PVT. LTD (registration No. 658), M/s Milsha Sea Product (Registration No. 471) and M/s ABAD OVERSEAS PVT.LTD (registration number 910).
Ecuador: WORLDWIDE INVESTMENTS AND REPRESENTATIONS WINREP S.A. (registration number 6147), Marisco del Ecuador, MARECUADOR Cia Ltda., PROCESADORA DE MARISCOS DE EL ORO PROMAORO S.A. (registration number PA5888), CONSERVAS Y FRIGORIFOS DEL MORRAZO, S.A. (registration number 12.08090/PO).
Norway: LM TRADING AS (registration number M129).
It is found that the prevention and control of the COVID-19 in the above enterprises is seriously inconsistent with the Guidelines for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 in Food issued by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the food safety and hygiene control does not meet the import requirements of China.
The Chinese side decided to suspend the acceptance of the import declaration of aquatic products shipped by the above-mentioned eight enterprises after November 3, 2022.
This information has been communicated to the official authorities of the exporting countries.
