The China Fishery Expo will be postponed again due to COVID-19.

The organizer of China Fisheries and Seafood Expo, the largest seafood trade exhibition in China, issued a notice to postpone the 26th China International Fisheries Expo, which was scheduled to be held from November 9 to 12, 2022.

Previously, the China Fishery and Seafood Expo was scheduled to be held from October 26 to 28, but it was delayed to November due to the spread of COVID-19. However, due to the new COVID cases in Qingdao recently, the organizer of CFSE cancelled the activity.

In a statement issued on October 28, the exhibition organization apologized to those who planned to attend the event. “Due to the current COVID-19 in China, it is still challenging to hold large gatherings. Therefore, after extensive consultation with the Qingdao Municipal Prevention and Control Administration, it is necessary to reschedule the 26th China Fishery and Seafood Expo. The new date of the Expo will be determined when COVID-19 improves. We recognize that the current COVID-19 situation and the delay of CFSE may cause great inconvenience to participants. However, CFSE organizers will try to connect exhibitors and potential visitors. The digital platform of the Expo, CFSE Global Marketplace will remain online and provide information and communication services for exhibitors and visitors”.
