On June 22, importers received relevant news related to Qingdao customs: In order to scientifically and accurately prevent and control the epidemic in the port, the sampling site of the goods with negative nucleic acid test results for the coronavirus will no longer be disinfected.
The previous customs clearance process at Qingdao Port required sampling in the port for nucleic acid testing, and the sampling site needed to be disinfected in the port. Now the customs cancels the disinfection process, which can improve the efficiency of customs clearance and save the importer about 1,000 RMB of each container on disinfection costs.
However, after the goods are brought out from the port, they still need to be stored in the supervised warehouse of the destination for comprehensive disinfection. After the disinfection is completed, the goods can be picked up and sold on the market.
