As the vannamei shrimp imported every month ranks first among all types of shrimp, the unqualified vannamei shrimp in the test is also larger than other types of shrimp. 99.5% of the unapproved frozen shrimp were vannanmei shrimp, which came from Ecuador, India and Malaysia, and the reason for rejection was surprisingly consistent: animal disease detection.
