On November 3, the Chinese Customs announced the suspension on imports of nine aquatic products enterprises.
When the Chinese customs conducted a video inspection, the prevention and control of the COVID-19 of eight enterprises seriously failed to comply with the Guidelines for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 in Food issued by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the food safety and health control did not meet China’s import requirements.
The 8 enterprises are:
India: M/s Milesh Marine Exports Pvt. Ltd. (Registration No. 1862), M/s Aishwarya Impex (registration number 1894), M/s Good Will Enterprise (Registration No. 1138).
Ecuador: EMPACADORA GRUPO GRANMAR S.A., EMPAGRAN (Registration No. 32), EXPALSA, Exportadora de Alimentos S.A. (Registration No. 143).

In addition, another enterprise failed to cooperate with China to complete on-site video inspection for two consecutive times. It is an Argentine enterprise, Conarpesa (Continental Armadores de Pesca S.A.) (Registration No. 2267).
The Chinese side decided to suspend the acceptance of the import declaration of aquatic products shipped by the above nine enterprises after November 3, 2022. The above information has been reported to the official authorities of the exporting countries.
