Chinese Customs suspend import of 4 aquatic products companies.

When Chinese customs authorities conducted a video inspection of three aquatic products companies exporting to China, namely the Ecuadorian company FRIGOPESCA C.A. (registration number: 3976), CAMAR-EXPO S.A. (registration number: 7863) and the Russian company Oktyabrskiy-1 Co LLC fish plant № 2 (registration number: CH-734), the prevention and control of COVID-19 in the mentioned companies was found to be seriously inconsistent with the Guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in food issued by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and that food safety and health control did not meet import requirements from China.

Also, M/s RUPSHA FISH PVT. LIMITED. (registration number 1319) from India did not cooperate with China to complete the video inspection within the specified time limit.

The Chinese side decided to suspend the import declarations of the aforementioned companies, accepting them only for aquatic products shipped after October 26, 2022.

This information has been communicated to the official authorities of the exporting countries.
