The Chinese Ministry of Transport prohibits the transportation of imported frozen food from unknown sources.

In a note issued recently, The Ministry of Transport of China reinforces the measurements of prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic in cold chain logistics channels. Workers who are in direct contact with refrigerated containers or refrigerated goods should wear masks, protective gloves and other protective equipment throughout the process, and measure their body temperature at least once before starting work.

The cold chain logistics companies strictly must check the imported cold chain food customs declaration documents, inspection and quarantine certificates, accurately register shipment information, vehicle and vessel information, transport personnel information, loading and unloading information and shall not carry imported cold chain food that cannot provide the source of purchase and import.
