Supervision of imported food in Zhengzhou City will be centralized.

Recently, the government of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, issued the latest notice, which stipulates: from January 20, all imported frozen meat and aquatic products entering Zhengzhou must enter the centralized supervision warehouse for detection, disinfection and storage before processing and sales.  And each batch of cargo will be given a QR code for traceability.

Zhengzhou is the largest frozen products trading hub city in Central China. It has the largest cold chain wholesale market of seafood, meat products and frozen food in central and west of China, called Zhongyuan Siji aquatic products logistics port. The market storage capacity can reach 250,000 tons, with more than 1,500 merchants and an annual transaction volume of more than 3.5 million tons.
