Chinese Customs takes emergency preventive measures against an Indian company and a Russian fishing vessel.

China Customs issued announcements on May 25 and 26:

Due to the positive detection of coronavirus in one packaging of a sample of a batch of frozen tongue sole imported from India, in accordance with the Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will temporarily suspend the import declaration of Indian enterprise M/s. Sun Exports (registered number 1156) for one week.

Another is due to the positive detection of coronavirus in two packaging of a sample of a batch of frozen pollock fish imported from Russia, in accordance with the Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will temporarily suspend the import declaration of Russian fishing vessel Berezina JSC “INTRAROS” (Registration number CH-47B) for 1 week.
