Chinese Customs takes emergency preventive measures against an Ecuadorian shrimp company.

China Customs announced on May 8:

Due to the positive detection of the covid-19 virus in the outer and inner packaging of a sample of a batch of frozen vannamei shrimp imported from Ecuador, in accordance with Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will suspend the acceptance of the import declaration of the company CULTIVO Y EXPORTACION ACUICOLA CEAEXPORT SA (registration number 7057) for 1 week.
