Nine batches of Ecuadorian frozen vannamei shrimp were not approved for entry due to the detection of animal diseases, and this ranked No.1 in the frozen category. According to the regulations of the World Organization for Animal Health and past analysis, such animal diseases may be WSSV.
2. Super-limit use of additives in aquatic products attracts attention.
Three batches of frozen aquatic products produced in Vietnam were not allowed to enter due to excessive use of food additives phosphoric acid and phosphate.
3. The heavy metal cadmium of 3 batches of frozen crab products imported from Thailand exceeded the standard.
Importers should remind exporters or foreign export companies to pay attention to relevant indicators, strengthen food safety control, reduce the risk of non-conformity, and avoid unnecessary losses.
