On April 7, 2022, a total of 4 aquatic product manufacturers from Pakistan, Myanmar and Peru were suspended for 1-2 weeks due to positive detection of nucleic acid for coronavirus in samples of products exported to China. The details are as follows:
Since a sample from the outer packaging of 1 batch of frozen Baigai imported from Pakistan and 1 sample from the outer packaging of 1 batch of frozen goldfish were found to be positive for coronavirus nucleic acid, according to the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 [2020], the national customs will suspend the acceptance of the import declaration of the manufacturers of aquatic products from Pakistan M/s. Seafood from the Coast (registration number TEC-65/94) and M/s. Orb Exim Corporation (Pvt). LTD (registration number T-594)/07) for 1 week.
Due to the positive detection of novel coronavirus nucleic acid in 8 outer packaging samples of a batch of frozen-dried shrimp imported from Myanmar, according to the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 of 2020, the national customs will suspend the declaration of imports from Myanmar aquatic products manufacturers: Golden Sea Cold Storage and Processing Plant (registration number YGN/099/GS/DOF) for 1 week.
Due to the positive detection of nucleic acid of the new coronavirus in 2 samples of the outer packaging and 1 sample of the inner wall of the container of 2 batches of frozen vannamei shrimp imported from Peru, according to the regulations of the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 103 2020, the national customs will suspend the acceptance of import declarations of products from the Peruvian manufacturer of aquatic products CORPORACION REFRIGERADOS INY SAC (registration number P015–CRU-CRRF) for 2 weeks from now.
